There are many people who need help. And we will try to help their voices be heard. Here are stories of some of them. Remember, you can save someone's life, it may even be their's. You only have to register once, and it may save either their's or someone else's life.




Emma and James







Both Emma and James were diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia (FA) in November 2012. FA a rare blood disorder that causes bone marrow failure and a predisposition to certain cancers

Rhianes

Rhianes is a sweet young girl who is in need for stem cells. She is half Indian and Mauritian and therefore the complexity of her genes is even higher.

Gaurav


Gaurav is a cute 2 year old boy who suffers from Monosomy 7 ( a rare condition in Chromosomes) and without a bone marrow transfer , this little boy will have developed an aggressive childhood leukemia (source : BBC) . His father update us through a blog about Gaurav and his hope is that there are more people who come forward and donate stem cells. And, let me remind you , it is not always sticking a needle into your pelvis, it is less painful today.

Leeds Marrow along with the family are running a campaign to get more people to donate bone marrow. Support them in the following ways.

Jeson



Jeson is a 32 year old young married man, who lives in London. He was diagnosed with blood cancer in 2012 and had undergone 3 sessions in Chemotherapy. His stem cells have been affected and he looks for your help to get more stem cells. His friends have organised campaigns and events and they are as the links below.

Kevin


Kevin is located in Sweden BUT your location doesn't matter! Kevin is not asian as you can see but this is to let us know that this situation is common in all ethnic communities. So call your friends from all races and donate. Each of you have someone who needs it.The stem cell register is global and every possible donor is internationally listed (but sadly no match for him yet). In case a match is found the donor wouldn't have to travel: everything is done at your local stem cell center and the transplant will be delivered to Kevin's local clinic! See donorforkevin.com
